The surf held up this afternoon. It was nice – about chest to head high on the bigger sets. The only problem was that the tide was coming in hard, and it was messing up the sets. Still, it was a really nice and relaxing Sunday afternoon session.
Getting back home, I realized that I haven’t really been listening to, and therefore not recommending, much in the way of new music lately. In response, I’m going to post a video from Corinne Bailey Rae.
I learned about Rae on the extremely entertaining blog of John Mayer, who is also a big fan of hers. Rightly so, she’s got an incredibly beautiful voice and a commanding presence. I highly recommend you take a listen.
