Meanwhile civil institutions barely exist and the new democracy gets to vote for which moneygrabbing sleazebag gets to be the whore of this grand design. Iraq will be the stage for the corporate utopia for the next 50 years pitting insurgent "terroists" against the "democratic" and "free market" state. These are the same guys who ban 40 year old sailors from taking liberty in Japan, and if they do they have to be back on ship by midnight, while 20 year old ensigns can eat, drink, and live it up all night long. We are constantly scolded by the neocons that disagreeing with the war sends the wrong message to our troops and "demoralizes" them. Nevermind that THEIR suggestion, that the best-trained and best-equipped armed foce on the planet can't do its job while coexisting with a dissenting political opinion, is of itself an outrageously patronizing insult to the maturity, skill, intelligence, and professionalism of our troops.
