P, I dont know if it was the soft bigotry of high expectations or what, but it seems to go nowhere, just puttering around in 2d gear the entire movie -- Clooney doing his charming schtick, Reitman doing some uninspired directing, and the storyline (which could have gone really well) failing to gain any traction. It could also be that I watched 500 Days immediately preceding UITA and found it shallow, cliche, and fake in comparison. D, umm, thanks?
