Pete Yorn – For Us
The good news is that this song off of Pete Yorn’s latest album “Nightcrawler” is pretty good, and the accompanying video is also pretty trippy.
The bad news is that Yorn has let himself go and now looks disconcertingly similar to Vincent Gallo in The Brown Bunny. Ewwww.
Few things:
1. Great song, by a great performer. Weird video.
2. Never mention Vincent Gallo, particularly in reference to Brown Bunny, ever again. I mean… just… ick. It’s tough because I love Chloe Sevigny, but I can’t look at her without picturing that scuzzbags’s… well, I’m sure you get the point.
3. The “take back some of the things I’ve said about you” line was from Ghostbusters. I apologize if you took it differently. I’m sure many people say terrible things about you, but let it be known that I’m not one of them.

3. Oh yeah, I took it the way it was intended (that’s one of the reasons I like your blog – inane and obscure movie quotes that nobody else would understand). No worries. As for my comment, I find that self-depreciation keeps me humble (well, sorta).
