I am a Christian, and very scientifically-minded at that, and was as outraged as you that this guy was let off for quoting Scripture. It certainly was not justice; but that in no way reflects on all Christians, any more than I will judge all atheists on your comments. By the way, looking at today's society, it would seem to take an extraordinary amount of "faith" to believe that we are somehow more civilized than an earlier generation who did believe in God and the Bible.
