I have used this analogy quite often lately. Especially when comparing the outsourcing of labor in America to when the Romans employed mercenaries to fight their wars. Once again, history repeats itself. This is nothing new, just done already on another continent. I'm sure you are quite thanking your lucky stars that you don't have to be entrenched in all the media rhetoric concerning these affairs state side.
